Our Story: The Legacy of BensonView Private Wealth

“BensonView Private Wealth was built on friendship, shared values, and a vision for helping people live with abundance.
Lee and I first met while working in the shared office space of Freedom 55 Financial. At that time, each of us was building our own practice—Lee with a focus on successful business owners, and myself with families. What began as professional respect soon grew into a friendship. We often found ourselves side by side at team-building events and goal-planning sessions, where Lee’s encouragement and big-picture thinking continually pushed me to dream bigger. He was one of my strongest supporters, and it was through his encouragement that I pursued and completed my CFP designation.
When we learned that our local office was closing, we began talking about sharing a workspace. Those conversations quickly deepened into discussions about partnership. Together, we sought guidance from mentors and asked the important questions: Did we share the same values? Did our vision for the future align? How would we build a firm that truly reflected what mattered most to us?
The answers became clear. We were united by a commitment to gratitude, generosity, excellence, and continual growth—both personally and professionally. Lee believed deeply in becoming a better version of himself each day, and that philosophy shaped the way we served our clients.
With that foundation, we created BensonView Private Wealth. For two years, Lee and I built the firm side by side, creating not just a business, but a community built on trust and shared purpose.
In January 2024, Lee passed away suddenly. His loss was felt deeply, but his spirit, vision, and values remain at the heart of everything we do. Today, under my leadership, BensonView continues to reflect the principles Lee and I built it upon—gratitude, excellence, service, and the unwavering belief in growth and possibility.
We honour Lee’s memory every day by carrying forward the environment we created together—a place where clients are supported, inspired, and guided to live abundantly. His legacy continues in the work we do, and in the lives we are privileged to serve.
